Solace

Continuing on my exploration of emotion felt when viewing a sunset. This is that feeling felt at the end of a day fishing with no catches. The consolation prize is solace. 
 
Solace was inspired by a view from Prince Edward County Ontario on Muscote Bay. The bay is know for it's great Walleye fishing as noted by the subtle bullrushes featured in the foreground.
 
This piece measures 16"x12". 
 
It is created  with 100% wool and framed to 20"x16". This piece is totally handmade and ready to hang in your favourite space.
